Albentas is a benzimidazole anthelmintic, active against most nematodes and some cestodes. It is used in the treatment of intestinal nematode infections and in higher doses in the treatment of hydatid disease. Albentas exhibits vermicidal, ovicidal, and larvicidal activity.
